- A bona fide acarya will certainly not accept such a conclusion - that no need to chant the Hare Krsna mantra. If one chants the name of Kali, Durga, Siva, Ganesa or anyone else, the result will be the same

- I have accepted Bhakta Wayne and Bhakta Rod as my firstly initiated disciples. Their names are as follows: Venugopala and Ramasaran. Also I have accepted Antaratma dasa, Ramai dasa, Gunavati dasi, and Camari dasi as duly initiated brahmanas
- If one accepts money from materialistic persons to offer food to the Deity and Vaisnavas, a pure Vaisnava does not accept it. This causes unhappiness for the materialists because they are fully absorbed in the bodily conception of life
- If there is a chance to serve the Supreme Personality of Godhead, a pure devotee sometimes accepts the salokya, sarupya, samipya or sarsti forms of liberation, but never sayujya
- If they are offered a post like Mine in My abode, or opulence like Mine, or even personal association with Me with similar bodily features, they (My devotees) refuse to accept because they are satisfied simply by being engaged in My devotional service

- Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu is here (in CC Madhya 3.106) telling Advaita Acarya that it is not befitting for a sannyasi to accept nice beds to lie on or to chew cloves and cardamom and have his body smeared with sandalwood pulp
- Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Gosvami does not approve of this statement (that Raghunatha Bhatta Gosvami was his initiating spiritual master); he does not accept Raghunatha Bhatta Gosvami as the spiritual master of Srila Krsnadasa Kaviraja Gosvami
- Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura says that if something impedes the execution of devotional service, it should be understood to be impure. Pure devotees of the Lord do not accept impure principles
- Srila Jiva Gosvami strictly followed his predecessor gurus and Vaisnavas, Srila Rupa Gosvami and Sanatana Gosvami, and Srila Krsnadasa Kaviraja Gosvami accepted him as one of his instructor gurus
- Srila Rupa Gosvami warns, however, that if a person is properly initiated by a bona fide spiritual master, he should not think that simply by the acceptance of such initiation his business is then finished
- Sukadeva Gosvami says: "You (Pariksit) should know that you are responsible, and, according to the gravity of your sins, you should accept some type of atonement as described in the sastras or scriptures." - SB 6.1.8
- Sukadeva Gosvami says: My dear King, after Agastya Muni had thus cursed King Indradyumna, the Muni left that place along with his disciples. Since the King was a devotee, he accepted Agastya Muni's curse as welcome because it was the desire of the SPG
- Sukadeva Gosvami tested the intelligence of Maharaja Pariksit, who passed the examination by refusing to accept this process (of atonement) as genuine. Now Pariksit Maharaja is expecting another answer from his spiritual master, Sukadeva Gosvami

- Tat te 'nukampam (SB 10.14.8) Devotees endure hindrances, accepting them to be caused by Supreme Personality of Godhead & regarding them as benedictions. Demons, being unable to understand the supreme controller, regard such hindrances as accidental
- The acceptance of Sri Caitanya-bhagavata by Krsnadasa Kaviraja Gosvami indicates his acceptance of the disciplic succession. A writer of transcendental literature never tries to surpass the previous acaryas
- The Bhagavatam's conclusion is that a devotee is never disturbed by such reverses. He accepts even reverse conditions as the grace of the Lord
- The bhakta, simply by engaging himself in the bhakti process, especially in chanting Hare Krsna, immediately develops control over the tongue by engaging it in chanting, and accepting the remnants of foodstuff offered to the Personality of Godhead

- The devotee is advised to accept the necessities of life without attachment. He'll take boiled water, but if boiled water is not available, does it mean he will not drink water? If it is not available, he will drink ordinary water

- The great devotee Citraketu was so powerful that he was quite competent to curse mother Parvati in retaliation, but instead of doing so he very humbly accepted the curse and bowed his head before Lord Siva and his wife
- The intelligent class of men are called brahmanas, and those who have realized the Absolute Truth in His supreme personal feature are called Vaisnavas. But both of them accept foodstuffs which are the remnants of sacrifice
- The King of the elephants, Gajendra, simply accepted that there must be someone who has created this cosmic manifestation and has supplied its ingredients. This should be admitted by everyone, even the most determined atheists

- Thus a Vaisnava should not ask anything from anyone else. If someone gives him something without being asked, he should accept it, but if nothing comes, a Vaisnava should be satisfied to eat whatever vegetables and fruits are easily available
- Thus the acquisition of wealth by a devotee is not a source of anxieties, as is the case for a worldly man. And because a pure devotee accepts everything in the sense of serving the Lord, the poisonous teeth of accumulation of wealth are extracted
- To acknowledge this (Caitanya Mahaprabhu appeared in his heart), Nrsimhananda Brahmacari used to accept as eatables the food of three Deities, namely Jagannatha, Nrsimhadeva and Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu. This is stated in the CC, Antya-lila, 2.48-78
- To become one with the Supreme Lord is beyond the dream of a pure devotee. Sometimes he may accept promotion to Vaikuntha planets to serve the Lord there, but he will never accept merging into the Brahman effulgence, which he considers worse than hellish

- Vaisnavas never accept sayujya-mukti, although sometimes they accept the other forms of liberation, namely sarupya, salokya, samipya and sarsti
- Vaisnavas, they accept sannyasa for better activities. For better activities means
- Vallabha was a great devotee of Sri Ramacandra; therefore he could not seriously consider the worship of Radha-Govinda according to the instructions of Sri Caitanya. Yet he directly accepted Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu as an incarnation of the SPG Ramacandra

- We accept Lord Jesus Christ as the son of God and he was a great Vaisnava
- We devotees of Krsna have a clear conception of God. Here is God: Krsna. And He's giving orders. We accept those orders. So it is clear religion
- We reject Buddha as unbona fide, but we accept him as an incarnation of God
- When a devotee cannot ascertain the cause of suffering he accepts that it is due to his own past misdeeds and offers obeisances to God. Such a devotee is called mukti-pade sa daya-bhak; that is, he is guaranteed his liberation from this material world
- When a devotee cannot ascertain the cause of suffering he accepts that it is due to his own past misdeeds that the Supreme Personality of Godhead has caused him some small amount of suffering. Thus he offers obeisances to the Lord again and again
- When a devotee is put into hellish conditions, he accepts them as Krsna's mercy: tat te 'nukampam susamiksamanah (SB 10.14.8). He does not protest, Oh, I am such a great devotee of Krsna. Why have I been put into this misery
- When he (Citraketu) agreed to accept this curse (given by Parvati), Lord Siva praised him and told Parvati that a devotee of Lord Narayana is never afraid of accepting any position provided there is a chance to serve the Supreme Personality of Godhead
- When he (Saranga dasa) went to the bank of the Ganges to take his bath, by chance he saw a dead body floating in the water, and he touched it with his feet. This immediately brought the body to life, and Thakura Saranga dasa accepted him as his disciple
- When Prahlada Maharaja was offered a benediction by Lord Nrsimhadeva, he refused to accept it and instead declared that a devotee should not be like a vanik, a mercantile man who gives something in exchange for some profit
- When the Supreme Personality of Godhead appears, He accepts His eternal father and mother, and they accept Krsna as their son. This pastime takes place eternally and is therefore called nitya-lila. Thus there was no cause for surprise or ridicule
- When there is rasabhasa in any book of Krsna consciousness, no learned scholar or devotee will accept it
- When Vallabha Bhatta arrived, he offered his obeisances at the lotus feet of the Lord. Accepting him as a great devotee, the Lord embraced him
- When you have invited Visnu, Krsna, Caitanya Mahaprabhu, to accept your service, you must be very, very careful how to render service. How cleansely, how nicely you have to serve. Otherwise everything will be spoiled
- Whether we believe that Krsna spoke Bhagavad-gita to the sun-god or not, this fact is being accepted by Arjuna
- With a serious attitude, the devotee throws away all achievements like so much dust, and he accepts only devotional service, the transcendental culmination
