- A brahmana who takes to this uncha-vrtti profession is called first class because he depends completely on the mercy of the Supreme Personality of Godhead and does not beg from anyone

- Less intelligent persons in the material world are engaged by the four principles of benediction called dharma, artha, kama & moksa. They prefer to take to religious life to achieve some material benediction, the purpose of which is to satisfy the senses
- Lord Caitanya's special gift to the fallen souls of this age of quarrel and disagreement is to induce the people in general, the religionists, the philosophers and everyone to take to the chanting of the holy name of Krsna

- Modern advanced in science people, they think: "Oh, what is the use of asking bread in the church? Why not take to industry?" That is their aim. In India, especially, this is the situation

- Nirvana means stop nonsense, but take to spiritual life. That is next, athato brahma jijnasa. Nirvana does not mean to stop activities; to stop nonsense activities. Come to the real activity

- One does not have to take to the principles of nonviolence and sense control, although there are rules and regulations for acquiring these qualities in the other processes. Without even practicing these processes a devotee develops all good qualities
- One has to act in terms of the Vedic injunctions in order to enjoy material life, but those who have taken to the devotional service of the Lord are not afraid of the regulations of this material world

- Thus they are always engaged in providing the necessities of life to their families in a limited conception of family life, just like uneducated cats and dogs. They are unable to take to spiritual knowledge; instead, they are bewildered
- To become religious means to become free from material entanglement. Not that to take to religious life means to, I mean to say, to develop economic condition
- To cleanse the mind and heart from all misconceptions, one should take to this chanting of the Hare Krsna maha-mantra
- Trade is meant only for transporting surplus produce to places where the produce is scanty. But when traders become too greedy and materialistic they take to large-scale commerce and industry and allure the poor agriculturalist

- Without accepting the devotional path, one cannot get out of the clutches of material existence. The conclusion is that no one can be happy in material life. One must take to Krsna consciousness

- Yamaraja is the superintendent or the judge for considering what kind of punishment should be given to a certain sinful person. After death, those who are sinful, they are taken to Yamaraja for judgment
- You are intelligent boys and girls. You have taken this Krsna consciousness movement. Try to understand more philosophically and distribute all over the world. That is my request
- You can stick to all the regulative principles, provided you take to the Krsna consciousness process - otherwise it is not possible
- You cannot execute any severe type of religious principles. Simply take to this chanting of Hare Krsna mantra. Param vijayate Sri-krsna-sankirtanam. You'll come out triumphant
