- A human being who identifies the body made of three elements as the self, who considers the by-products of the body to be his kinsmen, is to be considered like a cow or an ass

- Tell Krsna that I am four-headed Brahma. I am the father of Sanaka-Sanatana. - He is giving his identification as father of Sanaka-Sanatana, because this Sanaka-Sanatana appeared to be greater than Brahma
- The conditioned soul thinks, "I am this body," but a liberated soul thinks, "I am not this body. I am spirit soul." This "I am" is called ego, or identification of the self
- The devotee of God is also God. Just like we chanted this mantra, saksad-dharitvena samasta-sastraih, that "In every scripture the spiritual master is identified as directly God." Saksad-dharitvena samasta-sastraih
