- A Vaisnava, therefore, should be fully qualified. As stated in the Bhagavatam, anyone who has become a Vaisnava has developed all the good qualities of the demigods. There are twenty-six qualifications mentioned in the Caitanya-caritamrta

- On Makara-sankranti, in the month of January-February, thousands of people still go there (Ganga-sagara) to bathe, hoping to be liberated. That they can actually be liberated in this way is confirmed herein - SB 5.17.9
- One's status does not depend upon birth. As confirmed in SB 7.11.35 by Narada: If one shows the symptoms of being a brahmana, ksatriya, vaisya or sudra, even if he has appeared in a different class, he should be accepted according to those symptoms
- Only by devotional service can one know that the ultimate truth is the Personality of Godhead and that Brahman and Paramatma are only His partial features. This is confirmed in this verse (SB 3.6.40) by the great sage Maitreya

- The term svayam-jyotih indicates that there is no tinge of anything material or any material reaction. It is confirmed here (in SB 3.26.3) that the concept of the Lord's all-pervasiveness is due to His illumination everywhere
- The transcendental abode of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, as stated in Bhagavad-gita and confirmed in this verse (SB 3.16.27), is self-illuminated

- Under the direction of the spiritual master, one must cultivate bhakti-yoga (SB 7.5.23). Then, even within this material world, although the Lord is not visible, a devotee can see Him. This is confirmed in BG 18.55 and in SB 11.14.21
- Unless one practices devotional service himself, he cannot teach it to others. This conclusion is indeed confirmed throughout the Gita and Bhagavatam

- Vasudeva, or Lord Sri Krsna, is the original Supreme Person, as now confirmed by a mahajana, and therefore both the neophytes and the pure devotees must try to follow in his footsteps. That is the way of the devotional line
- Vedais ca sarvair aham eva vedyah (BG 15.15). By studying the Vedic literature, one should understand Krsna. As confirmed here (in SB 8.3.15), sarvagamamnaya-maharnavaya. He is the ocean, and all Vedic knowledge flows toward Him

- When He (Krsna) referred to the unbearable heaviness on the earth in connection with the Yadu dynasty, He was referring to the burden of their separation. Srila Jiva Gosvami confirms this inference.
