- Above these two classes of philosophers (monists & dualists) is the philosophy of acintya-bhedabheda tattva, or the truth of simultaneous oneness and difference. This philosophy was propounded by Lord Sri Caitanya in His explanation of the Vedanta-sutras

- For some time Lord Caitanya was conducting a Catuspati, which is a small tutorial village class run by a learned Brahmin. When Lord Caitanya was teaching grammar to his students he was explaining Krishna

- He (Bhattacarya) was not authorized to change a word in Srimad-Bhagavatam (from mukti-pade to bhakti-pade), as Sri Caitanya will explain. Although the Bhattacarya changed the word in his devotional ecstasy, Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu did not approve of it
- He (Caitanya Mahaprabhu) explained that mukti-pade refers to the lotus feet of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Visnu, who offers mukti and is therefore called Mukunda

- I am surprised. You are not a literary student and do not have long experience in studying the sastras. How have You been able to explain all these critical points?
- I can now understand that devotional service unto Lord Krsna is the supreme form of worship. Out of Your causeless mercy You have made my life successful simply by explaining the facts
- I do not recall what I spoke in that connection, but if something comes to My mind due to association with you, I shall explain it
- I have already explained nineteen different meanings. Now please hear further meanings. The word 'atma' also refers to the body, and this can be taken in four ways
- I have given all these explanations just to give some indication of the verse's meaning. Now let Me explain the real meaning of the verse

- In this way Krsna's transcendental forms are expanded unlimitedly. No one can count them. Whatever I have explained is simply a little glimpse. It is like showing the moon through the branches of a tree
- In this way Lord Caitanya condemned attempts at indirect interpretation of the Vedanta-sutra, and all the sannyasis present were struck with wonder by His explanation

- On the plea of disturbance of the bodily air and metabolism, Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu acted as if crazy. Thus in His school He began to explain the grammar of verbs through Krsna consciousness
- On these grounds (Caitanya Mahaprabhu's explaining grammar in relationship to Krsna), Sri Jiva Gosvami later compiled the grammar entitled Hari-namamrta-vyakarana. People in general consider such explanations crazy

- Prakasananda Sarasvati said: Such explanations of the codes of Vedanta-sutra and the Upanisads cannot be given by anyone but the Supreme PG. Since You (Caitanya) have all the potencies of the Supreme Lord, please explain the Vedanta-sutra further

- Sanatana Gosvami said, "My Lord, I have heard that previously, at the home of Sarvabhauma Bhattacarya, You explained the atmarama verse in eighteen different ways"
- So Lord Caitanya has explained the particular features of Krsna, and He's giving evidence from Brahma-samhita and other authentic Vedic literatures. So we have concluded that Krsna is the origin
- So the Mayavadi philosophers of Benares, after hearing the explanation of Vedanta-sutra from Caitanya Mahaprabhu, they were very much satisfied. Sei haite sannyasira phiri gela mana. Their mind turned. "Oh, this is the real explanation."
- Soon afterward, Vallabha Bhatta met the Lord at Jagannatha Puri, and the Lord explained to him the import of the holy name of Krsna

- Srila Rupa Gosvami gradually informed Ramananda Raya about everything he asked. Hearing his explanations, all the devotees of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu were struck with wonder
- Suddenly, Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu became calm and considered His state of mind. He remembered the words of Pingala, and this aroused an ecstasy that moved Him to speak. Thus He explained the meaning of the verse
