A
- A devotee always prays, For my misdeeds, may I be born again and again, but my only prayer is that I may not forget Your (The Lord) service
- A devotee who does not achieve complete perfection is guaranteed to take his birth in a learned and well-to-do family
- A devotee who perfects his devotional service certainly goes back to Godhead without a doubt, so for him there is no question of birth or death

- If a bhakta is not completely perfect he takes birth in the material world again, but in a very exalted position, either in a rich family or a family of the purest brahmanas, just to finish his development in spiritual consciousness
- If a devotee born in the family of a candala (the lowest caste) is sometimes found engaged in his habitual activities, he is not to be considered a candala. In other words, a Vaisnava should not be evaluated in terms of his body
- If a devotee can sanctify the place and family of his birth so extraordinarily, then what to speak of how completely the Lord can sanctify the place and family in which He chooses to take His birth

- Prahlada Maharaja says he (a devotee) may be born in a family of the dog-eaters, but because he has engaged his body, mind and words for service of Krsna, then he is better, he is in superior position than the so-called brahmin
- Prahlada Maharaja speaks of the vipras, the learned brahmanas. The learned brahmana is considered best among the divisions of brahmana, ksatriya, vaisya and sudra, but a devotee born in a low candala family is better than such brahmanas
- Prahlada Maharaja told his friends, "You have to begin Krsna consciousness immediately." All the boys were born of atheistic, materialistic families, but fortunately they had the association of Prahlada, who was a great devotee of the Lord from his birth
- Prahlada Maharaja, although born in a demon family, was an exalted devotee, and he desired their welfare. Thus he began instructing them about the futility of materialistic life
S
- Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu cited the example of Lord Krsna’s accepting food at the house of Vidura, who was a sudra by birth. By the same token, Isvara Puri, an empowered spiritual master, could show mercy to anyone
- Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu went to Vrndavana before the birth of Viththalesvara. As previously mentioned, Srila Rupa Gosvami was very old at the time Gopala stayed at the house of Viththalesvara
- Sri Mukunda Datta was born in the Cattagrama district, in the village of Chanhara, which is under the jurisdiction of the police station named Patiya. This village is situated ten krosas, or about twenty miles, from the home of Pundarika Vidyanidhi
- Sri Vallabha and his elder brothers Sri Rupa and Sanatana came from Candradvipa to the village in the Maldah district of Bengal known as Ramakeli. It is in this village that Srila Jiva Gosvami took birth, accepting Vallabha as his father

- The appearance of distress is a negative process intended to give the devotee relief from this material world, which is called mrtyu-samsara, or the constant repetition of birth and death
- The cows had given birth to new calves, but while coming down from Govardhana Hill, the cows, because of increased affection for the older calves (Krsna's calf expansions), allowed the older calves to drink milk from their milk bags - SB 10.13.31

- What he (A pure devotee) very sincerely desires at heart is to continue in the loving service of the Lord, even at the risk of taking birth again
- When Maharaja Bharata took birth as a brahmana, he was not very interested in the duties of a brahmana, but within he remained a pure Vaisnava, always thinking of the lotus feet of the Lord
- When the Supreme Lord returns to His eternal abode, His associates return with Him to their respective places. As such, these ever liberated Vaisnavas are not bound by the material laws of birth and death
