- After instructing Arjuna, Krsna will ask him, "Now what you want to do?" Because Krsna does not force. Krsna says that, "You surrender unto Me." He does not force that, "You must surrender. I am God. You are My part and parcel." No, He'll never say that

- Because He (Krsna) knows everything. A scientist is one who knows a subject matter thoroughly. He is a scientist. Krsna - He knows everything
- Because He is sitting there (in the heart), therefore all kinds of remembrance, smrti, knowledge and forgetfulness. These things are functions of the mind

E

- Even in distressed condition, because Krsna has given me distress, so-called distress, it is not distress. So this is all right. - Because here, distress or happiness, they are simply mental concoction
- Even Krsna. Krsna, who is the Supreme Personality of Godhead, He had a spiritual master, because He wanted to show the example
- Even we offer Krsna prayer with broken languages, because Krsna is Absolute, Krsna will accept it. Bhava-grahi, bhava-grahi-janardana. Janardana, Krsna, sees how much your heart is pure for serving Krsna. Krsna does not see the wording of your prayer
- Everything is one because Krsna is the supreme cause of everything. Krsna cannot be measured or calculated by Vedic knowledge (vedesu durlabham). He is available only to devotees - adurlabham atma-bhaktau
F

- Forgetfulness is also due to Krsna, because He's sitting there. He's guiding. If you want to forget Krsna, He'll give you so opportunity of maya that you'll never remember Krsna. You'll forget for good. And that is His kindness
H

- Just like we sometimes want to fight, mock fight. So in the Vaikuntha world there cannot be any fight. So because Krsna wanted to exercise His fighting spirit, He sent His devotee. He became enemy and He fought
K
- Kamsa killed all the sons of Devaki who were born before Krsna, but Krsna escaped the danger of child-slaughter because He was transferred to the house of Nanda Maharaja, Lord Krsna's foster father
- Krs means "attraction," and na means ananda, or "bliss." Krsna is known as Mukunda because He wants to give everyone spiritual, eternal, blissful life
- Krsna cannot distribute inferior energy because He is not inferior. He is always superior, spiritual, and therefore His energy is always spiritual
- Krsna comes Himself and leaves behind His words. His words are also Himself because His words are absolute. Presently we do not see Krsna, but if we actually advance, we will see Him
- Krsna does not die. Otherwise, how He could remember? This is the reason. You try to understand all this reasoning. You have to preach. This is the reason. Because Krsna says that, "I remember everything," therefore Krsna does not die
- Krsna has no past, present, or future, because He does not change His body. That is the difference between ourselves and Krsna
- Krsna is everyone's Lord, yet because He was the transcendental friend of Arjuna, He gladly accepted the role of messenger, exactly like an ordinary friend. That is the beauty of the Lord's behavior with His pure devotees
- Krsna is known as Madana-mohana because He conquers the mind of Cupid. He is also known as Madana-mohana due to His accepting the devotional service of the damsels of Vraja and rendering favors unto them
- Krsna is known as Madana-mohana. Madana means Cupid. Cupid enchants everyone, but Krsna is known as Madana-mohana because He is so beautiful that He enchants even Cupid
- Krsna is known as Vasudeva because He appeared in this material world as the son of Vasudeva. Similarly, He is known as Devaki-nandana, Yasoda-nandana, Nanda-nandana and so on
- Krsna is naturally attractive for all living beings because He is the chief eternal amongst all eternals. He alone is the maintainer of the many eternals
- Krsna is not different from His name because He is absolute. He is nondifferent from His words. The name Krsna and the person Krsna are not different. Because everything is Krsna
- Krsna is not hankering after your decoration, your nice foodstuff, because He is full perfect, atmarama. He can create any kind of comforts, He is so powerful. But He is so kind that He comes to you in a form which you can handle to serve Him
- Krsna is not just for India. He is for everyone, because He is God
- Krsna is prepared to establish a loving relationship with all living entities. In actuality this relationship is already there because He is the supreme father and we are His parts and parcels
- Krsna is the Absolute Personality of Godhead. He has nothing to do with the actions and reactions of the material manifestation because He is far above the material creation
- Krsna is the real Personality of Godhead because whether as a child or as a grown-up young man, He is the same person. He does not need to become powerful by meditation or any other external endeavor
- Krsna may act in so many ways in the world, but it is not because He is required to do so. This is indicated in Bhagavad-gita - 3.22
- Krsna means "all-attractive." This is the Lord's name because His transcendental qualities make Him very attractive. As a small boy He lifted Govardhana Hill, and in His childhood He killed many demons
- Krsna says that, "This philosophy of Bhagavad-gita I spoke to the sun-god, some forty millions of years ago." How He remembers? Because He does not change His body. This is simple fact
- Krsna says, vistabhyaham idam krtsnam ekamsena sthito jagat (BG 10.42): "The whole worldly affair is going on because I am there." Vistabhya: "I have entered into it." Don't you read in the Bhagavad-gita? Then
- Krsna spoke Bhagavad-gita to Arjuna not for Arjuna. He came for everyone, because He loves everyone. Everyone is son
- Krsna wanted Arjuna to fight, and although Arjuna did not want to fight, he fought because Krsna desired it. We have to learn to follow this example
- Krsna was smiling because He was thinking to Himself - I have delivered two young demigods from the bondage of standing for a long time as trees, but as for Me, I am bound by the ropes of the gopis and am subject to their chastisements
- Krsna was smiling because He was thinking to Himself - These two young demigods fell from the higher planetary system to this planet, and I have delivered them from the bondage of standing for a long time as trees
- Krsna, the very name suggests attractive. Krsna means all-attractive. He has got, because He's complete, purna, so He has got all the attractive features from material point of view, spiritual point of view
- Kunti addresses Lord Krsna as vrsni-rsabha, the child of the dynasty of Vrsni. It was because Krsna appeared in the Vrsni dynasty that this dynasty became famous, just as Malaysia & the Malaya Hills became famous because of the sandalwood that grows there
- Kunti therefore addresses Krsna as eternal (manye tvam kalam). And because He is eternal, He is the full controller (isanam). By Krsna's extraordinary behavior, Kunti could understand that Krsna is eternal and that Krsna is the supreme controller
- Kuntidevi addresses Krsna as Govinda because He is the giver of pleasure both to the cows and to the senses
- Kuntidevi distinctly says, kecid ahuh: "some foolish persons may say that He has taken birth." Krsna Himself also says in BG (9.11), - Because I have appeared just like a human being, those who are rascals think that I am also just like an ordinary human
- Kuntidevi says, - We Pandavas have become famous, and people say that we are very important. Why? Because You are our friend
- Kuntidevi was shown far more favor because Lord Krsna did not save the other children of Devaki, whereas He saved the children of Kuntidevi
L
- Lord Brahma was able to see how Krsna maintains the entire universe in different ways. It is because Krsna manifests everything that everything is visible
- Lord Caitanya is so munificent that He has given us a, I mean to say, easy process. Otherwise Krsna consciousness is not easy. Because Krsna is the last word of Absolute Truth
- Lord Krsna said - Arjuna, I see that you are talking like a learned man, but you may know that you have very little knowledge - because I see that you are lamenting over something for which no one would lament if he were truly learned
- Lord Krsna says, "I am situated in everyone's heart, and only due to Me one remembers, forgets and is cognizant, etc. Through all the Vedas I am to be known because I am the compiler of the Vedas, and I am the teacher of the Vedanta"
- Lord Krsna was not angry at Putana for His own sake. Rather, He was angry because the Raksasi had killed so many small children in Vrajabhumi. Therefore He decided that she should be punished by having to forfeit her life
M
- Maharaja Pariksit might have been thinking that the Kuru dynasty was not as fortunate as the others because the Supreme Lord did not appear in that family, neither as Krsna, Lord Ramacandra, Lord Rsabhadeva or Maharaja Prthu
- Milk is very important because Krsna says that krsi-go-raksya-vanijyam vaisya-karma svabhava-jam
- My Lord, because You (Krsna) dispel all the fear of Your devotees, I request You to save us (Devaki and Vasudeva) and give us protection from the terrible fear of Kamsa - SB 10.3.28
N
- Narada Muni therefore (because Krsna Himself lived with them constantly) specifically mentioned that within this material world (nr-loke) the Pandavas were the most fortunate
- Nondevotees think that because Krsna says, "I am God," they and everyone else can say the same. But if asked to show their universal form, they cannot do it. That is the difference between a pseudo god and the real God
- Not that because He (Krsna) will give me something more than expectation I am giving service. That mentality is not good
- Now (after being delivered by Krsna) they (Nalakuvara and Manigriva) admitted - Because You (Krsna) are the Supreme Person, You can do everything
O
- O Madhava, I (Srila Rupa Gosvami) know also that I have no genuine devotion for the service of Your lotus feet, but because Your Lordship is inconceivably powerful, You can do what is impossible to be done
- One can be enlightened by the mercy of God because Krsna Himself comes to give us information. If He does not come personally, He sends His devotee, or He leaves behind Him Bhagavad-gita
- One may think that because Krsna was the friend of Arjuna, Arjuna was telling Him all this by way of flattery. BG 1972 Introduction
- One should always chant the holy name of the Supreme Lord, Krsna, because Krsna is the most suitable name of the Supreme Personality of Godhead
- One should be attracted by the beautiful vision of Krsna. His name is Krsna because He is all-attractive. One who becomes attracted by the beautiful, all-powerful, omnipotent vision of Krsna is fortunate. BG 1972 purports
- One should not conclude that because Krsna is unaffected by favorable prayers or unfavorable blasphemy one should therefore blaspheme the Supreme Lord. This is not the regulative principle
- Only fools are ungrateful to their benefactors. The Lord, however, does not require benefit from anyone besides Himself because He is full in Himself; still He feels benefited by the unalloyed services of His devotees
- Only the pure devotees can know, Krsna's omnipotence and opulence, and in His wealth, fame, strength, beauty, knowledge and renunciation, because Krsna is benevolently inclined to His devotees. BG 1972 purports
- Others on the battlefield could not see this form (Krsna's universal form) because Krsna gave the vision only to Arjuna. Arjuna could see in the body of Krsna many thousands of universes. BG 1972 purports
- Our formula of God is that He is the source of everything. Unless rascaldom is in Krsna, how can it be manifest... because He is the source of everything. But His rascaldom is so nice that everyone worships His rascaldom
- Our Krsna consciousness movement is to educate people on the principles of the teachings of Bhagavad-gita. So if you understand Bhagavad-gita thoroughly, then you will understand Lord Rama also and other incarnations, because Krsna is present with all
- Our principle is that Krsna should be accepted as the leader, because Krsna says in the Bhagavad-gita, mattah parataram nanyat kincid asti dhananjaya (BG 7.7). Krsna is the supreme leader
S
- Sankaracarya said bhaja govindam, bhaja govindam. That is real knowledge. But if one says that in the Vedas, you don't find Krsna's name, then he has not studied Veda. Because Krsna says, vedais ca sarvair aham eva vedyam
- She (mother Yasoda) thought that this child Krsna was going to the houses of neighborhood gopas and gopis to steal butter because He did not like the milk and yogurt ordinarily prepared
- Should we think that these (Hiranyakasipu and Hiranyaksa) were ordinary living entities? No, they were the great devotees Jaya and Vijaya, who came to this world because Krsna wanted to fight
- Sila means character, very nice character. A devotee cannot be bad character. Because Krsna is param brahma param dhama pavitram (BG 10.12) - pavitra means pure - so impure cannot approach Him. That is not possible
- Simply if you give aural reception, that will clear everything within your mind, and you'll get enlightenment, because Krsna will help you. He's present within
- Simply we have to become purified feelings that, "I must serve Krsna very nicely." Then He will give facilities, He will give you intelligence, He will give you everything. Because He is the source of everything
- Since everything is Krsna's property, He sees everything and is present everywhere, but because His body is transcendental, He is above vision, the objects of vision and the process of vision
- So far knowing capacity is concerned, you are one with God. Because Krsna or God is cognizant, you are also cognizant. But you are cognizant with very limited sphere, and He is cognizant unlimitedly everywhere. That is the difference
- So the idea that we don't want this material opulence, that is called vairagya. And why you want Krsna? Because Krsna is your eternal master, eternal father. That is called jnana
- So we can change our home also into Vaikuntha. We can change our home. It is not difficult. Because as Krsna can be all-pervading, Vaikuntha is all-pervading. But we have to simply realize it by the authorized process
- Some people argue that Arjuna was talking with Krsna because Krsna was present before him, whereas in my case, Krsna is not present. So how can I get directions? But that is not a fact. Krsna is present by His words - the Bhagavad-gita
- Someone may be in the quality of goodness, someone may be in the quality of passion, someone may be in the quality of darkness, or ignorance. But Krsna, or God, is transcendental to all qualities, because He's Supreme Spirit
- Such activities (Krsna's) are very attractive, and He is sometimes called Giridhari, Madhusudana, Agha-nisudana and so on. Because He acted as the son of Nanda Maharaja, He is called Nanda-tanuja
- Sun is 93,000,000 miles away, but on account of the sun's energy spread, we are feeling the presence of sun. Similarly, we have to associate with God, Krsna, by chanting His holy name because Krsna, being Absolute, He is not different from His name
T
- That is the easiest way. By chanting Krsna, you are associating with Krsna. Because Krsna is absolute, so Krsna and Krsna's name, no difference
- That Lord Krsna is Narayana, the father of Brahma, because Lord Krsna’s plenary expansion Garbhodakasayi Visnu, after placing Himself on the Garbha Ocean, created Brahma from His own body
- The affairs of the Supersoul pertain to Ksirodakasayi Visnu, but Krsna took compassion on Devaki, His devotee, because He understood her fear of Kamsa's persecution
- The benedictions were fitting in the sense that the Lord was playing the part of a human being, as if a cousin of Maharaja Yudhisthira, but they were also unfitting because the Lord is absolute and has nothing to do with any kind of material relativities
- The body may be prime minister or anything else, as soon as the soul is out of this body, it is not worth even a farthing. Similarly, because Krsna enters within this universe, therefore the universe has value. Otherwise it is simply lump of matter
- The brahmana wanted to worship Nanda Maharaja because the Supreme Personality of Godhead, as a child, crawled in the yard of his house. These are some of the good sentiments of devotees
- The conception of oneness with the Supreme Personality of Godhead is inferior to that of eternal service to the Lord because Lord Krsna is more affectionate to devotees than to His personal self
- The cowherd men innocently thought - Because our Krsna is innocent, the causes of death that appeared before Him were themselves killed instead of Krsna. This is the greatest grace of the Supreme Personality of Godhead
- The cowherd men were very much agitated because the child Krsna, after all, had been standing between the two (fallen yamala-arjuna) trees, and if by chance the trees had fallen upon Him, He would have been smashed
- The dealings of Lord Krsna and Bhismadeva on the Battlefield of Kuruksetra are interesting because the activities of Lord Sri Krsna appeared to be partial to Arjuna and at enmity with Bhismadeva
- The demigods prayed - Lord Krsna is Your name because You are all-attractive; You are called Syamasundara because of Your transcendental beauty. Syama means blackish, yet they say that You are more beautiful than thousands of cupids
- The demigods prayed - Sometimes You (Krsna) are called Giridhari because You lifted the hill known as Govardhana. You are sometimes called Nanda-nandana or Vasudeva or Devaki-nandana because You appear as the son of Maharaja Nanda or Devaki or Vasudeva
- The earth floats in space among many millions of other planets, all of them bearing huge mountains and oceans. It floats because Krsna enters into it, as stated in Bhagavad-gita (gam avisya (BG 15.13)), just as He enters the atom
- The earth is certainly not weightless; rather, it is very heavy. But it floats because the Supreme Spirit is within it
- The effulgence came out from the python's body and became purified, attaining spiritual suddha-sattva, freedom from material contamination, because Krsna had stayed within the serpent's body, even after the serpent's death
- The entire material creation is resting on Krsna's energy, either material, spiritual or marginal, but because His form is absent from the expansion of His energy, He is not personally present
- The essence of Vedic knowledge is Bhagavad-gita because the Supreme Personality of Godhead is speaking personally. Take advantage of it. Apply it practically in life and be happy, not only in this life, but the next life
- The gopis, being young girls, approached Krsna because He was a beautiful young boy. From the external point of view, they approached the Lord out of lust, and the Lord danced with them at midnight
- The impersonal Brahman is Krsna Himself because Krsna is the source of the impersonal Brahman. He is the origin of the transcendental bliss sought by great saintly persons, yet He, the Supreme Person, is your most dear friend and constant well-wisher
- The International Society for Krishna Consciousness is simply intended to keep us in constant touch with Krsna. Krsna can be in constant companionship with us because He is omnipotent
- The interpretation is that the Lord as isvara, or the Supersoul in the hearts of both King Yudhisthira and Vyasa, performed still more superhuman action because the Lord desired it
- The Lord (Krsna) does no wrong in any circumstance because He is absolute, all good at all times
- The Lord (Krsna) is also known as Giridhari or Girivara-dhari. Because Krsna, for the sake of His devotees, lifted Govardhana Hill, the devotees appreciate the Lord's inconceivable strength
- The Lord (Krsna) is equal to everyone, but a devotee of the Lord is more glorified because he is always in touch with the all-great
- The Lord (Krsna) is known as Devaki-nandana and Yasoda-nandana because He accepted the role of son for mother Devaki and mother Yasoda, and He is known as Gopala because He enjoyed the sport of maintaining the cows and calves
- The Lord (Krsna) out of His causeless mercy, because He is more merciful to the suffering living beings than they can expect, appears before them and renovates the principles of devotional service
- The Lord requested Arjuna to declare this instead of declaring it Himself because sometimes Krsna changes His view and therefore people might not believe Him. Thus Krsna asked Arjuna to declare that a devotee of the Lord is never vanquished
- The Lord said that because He entered into the material universe by His personal representation, the cosmic manifestation has been made possible and is going on. BG 1972 purports
- The name of God is Krsna, because He is so attractive that the pure devotee can give up everything within this material world on His behalf. Maharaja Bharata was an ideal king, instructor and emperor of the world
- The Pandavas were better than all of them (descendants of the Yadu dynasty and Vasistha, Marici, Kasyapa, Lord Brahma and Lord Siva) because Krsna Himself lived with them constantly
- The perfect nivrtta-guna-vrtti is the Supreme Lord (Krsna) because He never becomes attracted by the modes of material nature, whereas the living beings have such a tendency. Some of them are entrapped by the illusory attraction of material nature
- The rasa dance can be enjoyed only by Sri Krsna because He is the supreme leader and chief of the damsels of Vrndavana. All others are His devotees and associates
- The scientists are now studying atoms, and they are finding that electrons, protons, and other particles act in so many ways. Why are these particles active? Because Krsna is present there. This is real scientific understanding
- The Tenth Canto (of Srimad-Bhagavatam) is the actual center of all discussions of mukti because the Personality of Godhead Sri Krsna, who is the tenth subject discussed in Srimad-Bhagavatam, is the exclusive subject of the Tenth Canto
- The two words (of SB 10.6.8) antakam and anantam are contradictory. Because of not being intelligent, Putana thought that she could kill her antakam, the source of her annihilation; but because He (Krsna) is ananta, unlimited, no one can kill Him
- The Vaisnava who knows how to serve Krsna, he does not take anything as mithya. Because Krsna is the Absolute Truth, why anything emanation from Krsna should be mithya? How it is possible? If something is prepared from gold, why it should be valueless?
- The Vedas (Svetasvatara Upanisad 6.8) assert that the Supreme Personality of Godhead has nothing to do personally (na tasya karyam karanam ca vidyate) because He is doing everything through His energies and potencies
- The Vedic knowledge is given to everyone because Krsna is within everyone's heart (sarvasya caham hrdi sannivistah (BG 15.15)), but one must be qualified to receive that knowledge
- The vigraha, the Deity of Krsna, appears by Krsna's mercy. Because Krsna is alaksya, invisible, He becomes visible to give us the facility to see Him. It is not that Krsna is stone, wood, or metal
- The weapon called brahmastra, released by Asvatthama, was neutralized and foiled by Lord Sri Krsna by His own energy; that is to say, He did not wait for any other's help because He is absolute
- The word acyutamsam is used because the Supreme Personality of Godhead is Sad-aisvarya-purna, full in the opulences of wealth, strength, fame, knowledge, beauty and renunciation. The Supreme Godhead is never separated from His personal opulences
- The word parama-kalyana is significant because Krsna, in any of His incarnations, appears in order to protect the sadhus (paritranaya sadhunam) - BG 4.8
- The word vibhidyamana is significant because the Lord's skin is not different from the Lord. Because our skin is different from our soul, in our case the word vibhidyamana, or being bruised and cut, would have been quite suitable
- The Yadu dynasty was famous because Krsna took His birth in that family. But Kuntidevi says, ke vayam: "What are we? What is our value?" Ke vayam nama-rupabhyam: (SB 1.8.38) - We have our name and form, but without You it is all useless. It has no value
- There are different opinions about the birth of the Unborn because the Lord's (Krsna's) appearance in this material world is bewildering
- There are many persons who envy Krsna because He (Krsna) has explained in Bhagavad-gita that He is the Supreme and that nothing is above Him or equal to Him. BG 1972 purports
- There are no such differences for Krsna, because His body is full of knowledge. Here we receive material bodies because of a lack of knowledge, but because Krsna, Vasudeva, is full of knowledge, there is no difference between His body and His soul
- There is no difference between His (Krsna's) name, form, quality etc, because Krsna is absolute. Our intimate relation with Krsna can be confidentially revived by our talking of, hearing of, or remembering Him. It is so done due to spiritual potency
- There is no such thing as maya Krsna because Krsna is not a product of the material creation
- There is nothing different from Him (Krsna) because He is absolute. He is kaivalya; there is nothing except Himself. Everything and everyone is the manifestation of His energy, and thus He is present everywhere by His energy, being nondifferent from it
- There was no need to come before Bhismadeva with blood and wounds. But He (Krsna) did so because the warrior devotee wanted to see the transcendental beauty of the Lord decorated with wounds created by a pure devotee
- They (beauty and attraction of the queens of Lord Krsna) could not disturb the transcendental senses of the Lord (Krsna). This is because the Lord is all-perfect atmarama, or self-sufficient
- This increase of affection was not maya; rather, because Krsna had expanded Himself as everything and because the whole life of everyone in Vrndavana was meant for Krsna, the cows, because of affection for Krsna, had more affection for the older calves
- This KC movement means we are presenting the BG as it is. That's all. We have no difficulty because Krsna is accepted as authority, the SPG, by all the acaryas; not only formerly, like Vyasadeva, Narada, Asita, Devala, many, many big, big stalwart
- This process (of surrendering to Krsna) is the best because the Lord assures, aham tvam sarva-papebhyo moksayisyami ma sucah: "I shall deliver you from all sinful reaction. Do not fear"
- This theory cannot be supported either, because the Lord Himself says in the Bhagavad-gita that the Brahman effulgence rests on His personality
- This world is material because God is forgotten here, but once He is remembered the world immediately becomes spiritual. In other words, the spiritual world is that place where Krsna is not forgotten
- Those who are chanting and dancing, they are realizing. Why? Because Krsna Himself is delivering, "All right. Take Me. It is very difficult to understand Me, you are so defective. But I give Myself to you. Come on." This is Krsna consciousness movement
- Those who are nondevotees. For them, killing business. But the killing is also good for them. Because Krsna is absolute. Either Krsna loves somebody or kills somebody, the result is the same
- Today this decoration is so nice. Of course, such kind of decoration is made in India. But if some devotee comes from India he'll see, "Oh, it is very nice. How they have done?" How? It is possible, because Krsna is everywhere
V
- Vasudeva prayed to the Lord - You are called suklam. Suklam, or 'whiteness,' is the symbolic representation of the Absolute Truth because it is unaffected by the material qualities
- Visnu is the origin of everything, and there is no difference between Lord Visnu and Lord Krsna because both of Them are visnu-tattva
W
- We are envious of our enemies and friendly toward our friends, but because Krsna is absolute, even when He appears to be inimical toward some demon He is actually a friend
- We are worshiping. Because Krsna says, man-mana bhava mad-bhakto mad-yaji: "Worship Me." Regularly worship, as it is prescribed in the sastra: to rise early in the morning, to have mangala arati, to offer this, to offer that, offer that - fully engaged
- We can reciprocate all kinds of rasas, humor, because He is the reservoir of all rasas. So this is the rasa of chivalry, the fighting spirit
- We can see stone, metal, wood, and other elements, and because Krsna is everything, to be visible to our imperfect eyes He appears in a form of these elements. It is not that Krsna is stone or that we are worshiping stone
- We cannot understand Krsna in full. That is not possible, because He's unlimited, and we are limited. So our power will fail to understand Krsna fully
- We have to be purified. Param brahma param dhama pavitram paramam bhavan (BG 10.12). Because Krsna is pure, we cannot approach Krsna impurely. But if we think of Krsna always and meditate upon Krsna, then we shall be purified
- We should not be sorry. Because Krsna says. When we, I mean to say, deliberately discuss on sastras, there is no question of compromising. We must face the bare facts
- We should not jump over Krsna without the help of guru. That is not possible. You must go through. Because Krsna says, "Actually one who is serious to understand higher transcendental subject matter, he must approach guru." These are Vedic injunction
- We should not think that because Krsna was born in India that the knowledge of BG is sectarian or that Krsna is a sectarian God. Indeed, in the Fourteenth Chapter Sri Krsna proclaims Himself to be the father of all beings
- We should not think, "Because Krsna is supplying my food, I shall now sleep." No, you have to work, but without fear. You should engage yourself wholeheartedly in Krsna consciousness, confident of Krsna's maintenance and protection
- We've often seen pictures of Atlas, a stout man bearing a large planet on shoulders & struggling very hard to hold it up. We may think that because Krsna is maintaining the universe, He is struggling under its burden like Atlas. But this is not the case
- What the living entity is considering to be bad or good is only so for the living entity, for he is conditioned. But because Krsna is not conditioned, for Him there is no question of bad or good
- Whatever we have in a minute quantity is present in its fullness in Krsna (janmady asya yatah (SB 1.1.1)). For example, we have a propensity to steal, to take things that belong to others. Why? Because Krsna has the same propensity
- When he (Narakasura) was killed by the Lord and the Lord entered the house of the demon, all the princesses were enlivened with joy and offered to become His wives because the Lord is the only friend of the distressed
- When He becomes a rascal, that is also good. That is Krsna. Rascaldom is not good, but when it is practiced by Krsna, because He is absolutely good, that rascaldom is also good. This one has to understand
- When He was present, everyone was attracted simply by Krsna's form, and because Krsna is director of the universe, He just banished the fear of Arjuna, His devotee, and showed him again His beautiful form of Krsna. BG 1972 purports
- When one surrenders to Krsna, he has complete faith that he is not in danger because Krsna is protecting him
- When the handcart broke, an ordinary child could have been injured in many ways, but because Krsna is the Supreme Personality of Godhead, He enjoyed the dismantling of the cart, and nothing injured Him
- When the Lord advises in Bhagavad-gita to worship Him alone, it is to be understood that worshiping Lord Krsna includes worshiping all that is mentioned, because He, Lord Krsna, includes everyone
- When we associate with the Deity, we associate with Krsna personally. Because Krsna is invisible, He very kindly takes a form that is visible to us. This is Krsna's mercy
- When we reach that stage, love of God, love of Krsna, then we love everyone because Krsna is everyone. Without coming to that central point, our love on the material conception of life - equality, fraternity, brotherhood - are all simply cheating process
- When we want to beget a child, we need the help of a wife because we cannot beget a child alone. But Krsna, Lord Visnu, produced Lord Brahma without the help of His wife, Laksmi, although she was present, because He is not dependent on anything
- Whenever the Supreme Lord personally appears, He appears in Mathura because of His intimate connection with this place
- Why did He not declare it (Krsna's devotee is never vanquished) Himself? The answer is that if Krsna Himself made this declaration, it might be suspect, because Krsna sometimes violates His own promise
- Why should we bother about this battlefield? Because Krsna is on the battlefield, and therefore the whole battlefield has become Krsna-ized
Y
- You can develop love for anything if you try for it. But Krsna development is very natural. Because Krsna is not a thing belonging to a particular type of religion or sect. Krsna claims, - I belong to everyone
- You can say, "All right, I'll offer these fruits and flowers to God, but it is the same. It is remaining. How He is eating?" But His eating is not like my eating, because He hasn't got a body like this. This body is material
- You cannot protect yourself by so-called science, physician, or power. It is not possible. Because the death is Krsna
- You have to find out such person. Then your life is successful. So that will also . . . you will get according to your sincerity of purpose, because Krsna is within you
- You make friendship with Krsna. And because He's the proprietor, He'll protect you. These are the three points. Is that clear? Or you have got any question, you can question. Let it be clear. This is very intelligent question
