H
- He (Krsnadasa Kaviraja Gosvami) considers himself unqualified, lower than the worms in stool, and more sinful than Jagai and Madhai. A pure Vaisnava actually thinks of himself in this way
- He has no danger personally. What danger there is? There is Krsna. He is confident, and Krsna protects him in all danger. But he is unhappy. He meets Jagai-Madhai class & faces all kinds of danger. Therefore he is the powerful, authorized agent of Krsna

- In the Gaura-ganoddesa-dipika (115) it is said that the two brothers Jagai and Madhai were formerly the doorkeepers named Jaya and Vijaya, who later became Hiranyaksa and Hiranyakasipu
- It does not mean that the abominable qualities of such persons (like Jagai and Madhai) will help free human society from the clutches of maya. Rather, they will entangle humanity more and more in the reactions of the stringent laws of material nature
- It was Srila Nityananda Prabhu who delivered persons like Jagai and Madhai. Therefore, Lord Caitanya says, amara - duskara - karma, toma haite haye. Jagai and Madhai were delivered solely by Nityananda Prabhu's mercy

- Jagai-Madhai, they were zamindars, very rich men, and brahmana. But because they were addicted to these habits, they were taken as the most sinful
- Just like Ajamila. In the past history he, simply sinful, Jagai-Madhai, simply sinful, but as soon as they come to the position of pure devotional life, he is pure. That's all
N
- Nityananda Prabhu considered, "So these two brothers (Jagai & Madhai) are so fallen? So why not deliver them first?" This is Nityananda Prabhu
- Nityananda Prabhu delivered Jagai and Madhai, but a servant of Nityananda Prabhu, by His grace, can deliver many thousands of Jagais and Madhais. That is the special benediction of the disciplic succession
- Nityananda Prabhu was injured. Still prasanta. This is sadhu. Yes. "My dear Jagai-Madhai, you have injured Me. It doesn't matter. Chant Hare Krsna please." This is prasanta
- Nityananda Prabhu was so kind that He not only saved them (Jagai and Madhai) from death but elevated them to the transcendental position. Thus what was not possible for Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu was carried out by Nityananda Prabhu
S
- Somebody informed (to Nityananda Prabhu) that - There are two brothers, Jagai & Madhai, very fallen souls, they were born in brahmana family, very nice, rich family. But being addicted to drinking and prostitution, they have become now rogues
- Sri Baladeva appeared as Sri Nityananda Prabhu during the advent of Lord Caitanya, and the great Lord Nityananda Prabhu exhibited His causeless mercy by delivering a pair of extremely fallen souls, namely Jagai and Madhai

- These two brothers were the witnesses who proved that Lord Caitanya was rightly named Patita-pavana, "the deliverer of the fallen souls"
- This (meeting difficulties while engaged in preaching) was exhibited by Lord Nityananda when He delivered the two fallen souls Jagai and Madhai, and similarly Lord Jesus Christ was crucified by the nonbelievers
