- A devotee does not try for liberation separately. As soon as he surrenders to Krsna or Krsna's representative, he is liberated

- The actual devotee does not desire even liberation, anyabhilasita-sunyam (Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu 1.1.11). The Lord, however, fulfills the desire of the devotee by awarding him opulence that will never be destroyed

- When a devotee cannot ascertain the cause of suffering he accepts that it is due to his own past misdeeds and offers obeisances to God. Such a devotee is called mukti-pade sa daya-bhak; that is, he is guaranteed his liberation from this material world
- When a devotee gets liberation, he becomes free from material contamination and engages as a servant of the Lord. This is explained in Srimad-Bhagavatam (SB 2.10.6): muktir hitvanyatha rupam svarupena vyavasthitih
- When a devotee understands that the Lord is satisfied, liberation, or merging into the effulgence of the Lord, is not very difficult
