- A highly elevated devotee can bind Me, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, in his heart by love. Wherever he looks, he sees Me and nothing else
- A man may be very tricky, very intelligent, but he will not be able to excel Krsna. He is more tricky. Just like in His childhood, Krsna was naughty, so mother wanted to bind Him. So Krsna also became tricky
- Actually this incident (of SB 10.9.7) was wonderful because Krsna was only a child with small hands. To bind Him should have required only a rope not more than two feet long
- After binding her son, mother Yasoda engaged herself in household affairs. At that time, bound up to the wooden mortar, Krsna could see a pair of trees before Him which were known as arjuna trees

- Krsna agreed to be bound by mother Yasoda after she had given up trying to bind Krsna with ropes. This is another appreciation made by Sukadeva Gosvami in his narration of the pastimes of Krsna before Maharaja Pariksit
- Krsna cannot be measured. How then did Yasoda want to measure Him and bind Him?
- Krsna has become fearful to Yasoda: "My dear mother, kindly do not bind Me. I shall obey your orders." So Yasoda has become more than God, more than Krsna
