- A devotee has his relationship only with the Supreme Personality of Godhead, and his only occupational duty is to execute devotional service to satisfy the Lord. This service is rendered through the Lord’s representative, the spiritual master

- Sacrifice means to accept the supremacy of the Lord and thereby perform acts by which the Lord may be satisfied in all respects. The atheists do not believe in the existence of God, and they do not perform any sacrifice for the satisfaction of the Lord
- Sacrifices contained in the ritualistic portions of this literature (karma-kanda, jnana-kanda and upasana-kanda) are meant for the satisfaction of the Supreme Lord, Visnu

- Those whose intelligence is brilliant accept this hari-nama-yajna, the yajna of chanting the holy name of the Lord. By performing this yajna, one satisfies the Supreme Personality of Godhead and thus attains perfection in spiritual life
- Thus I created the ingredients and paraphernalia for offering sacrifice out of the parts of the body of the Supreme Lord, the enjoyer of the sacrifice, and I performed the sacrifice to satisfy the Lord

- Unless the demons become Krsna conscious and are trained to satisfy the senses of the Lord, there can be no question of peace in human society or any society, even that of the demigods

- Vedic civilization is meant for training the whole people in such a way that they'll be engaged in the performance of yajna. So that either he acts as a sudra or either he acts as a brahmin, it doesn't matter. The real aim is to satisfy the Supreme
- Vidura again wanted to hear about Pracinabarhi's sons, and he was especially inquisitive to know what they achieved by satisfying the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Here the words siddhim apuh, or "achieved perfection," are very important
- Visnu worship is the ultimate aim of human life. Those who take the license of married life for sense enjoyment must also take responsibility to satisfy the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Visnu, and the first stepping-stone is varnasrama-dharma system

- We do not know what is Visnu and how to satisfy Him, what is the meaning of yajna. All forgotten. That is not Vedic civilization. Vedic civilization begins by performing yajna for the satisfaction of the Supreme Lord Visnu
- We should continue executing our occupational duties, but if we try to satisfy the Supreme Personality of Godhead by our duties, then our lives will be perfected
