- They do not follow Lord Caitanya's injunction to be "more humble than a blade of grass." If they were that humble, they would give up their pride in being the doer of good deeds, the wisest person, the most devoted, and so on
- This can be dovetailed when we are actually very sincere servant of Lord Krishna
- This conception of the Lord and the earth as father and mother is explained in Bhagavad-gita (BG 14.4). Conditioned souls are devoted to the motherland in which they take their birth, but they do not know their father
