- Accompanied by his personal staff, the King also came there and watched from a distance, and all the queens watched from the elevated parts of the palace

- The Lord (Caitanya) even refused to see the King (Prataparudra) despite the request of a personality like Sarvabhauma Bhattacarya, who was the Lord’s intimate friend and devotee

- Upon seeing the King (Prataparudra) engaged in such menial service (cleansing the road with a broom and sprinkling the road with sandalwood-scented water for the sake of Lord Jagannatha), Caitanya Mahaprabhu became very happy
