So we are creating lazy intelligent. An intelligent man must be lazy, otherwise how he can act intelligently, sober. "All right, let me consider." You cannot hope that the intelligent man will give his decision easily.

Tamal Kṛṣṇa: He can be called lazy, but that's not tama-guṇa.

Prabhupāda: That is sobriety. Modern tendency is to create "busy foolish." The communists are busy foolish.
