- A man may have very good brain power, organization, but if he has no money - useless. So four things required: land, labor, capital, organization
- According to Vedic conception, these four things are sinful activities, four pillars. Just like four pillars, the legs of this table, similarly, illicit sex, meat-eating, intoxication and gambling are the four legs of sinful life
- Actually we are engaged in human society for economic development, for advancement of so many things - actually, for eating, sleeping, mating and defending. Whatever we do, these four things are there

- Janma means birth. And aisvarya, opulence, money. Janma aisvarya sruta, aisvarya, and sruta. Sruta means education. And sri means beauty. These four things are outcome of previous pious life
- Just like Lord Jesus Christ. He, he's worshiped as good as God because he dedicated everything for God. Similarly, if you also dedicate your life, your intelligence, your money... Pranair arthair dhiya vaca. By four things you can attain greatness

- Krsna advises 4 things: man-mana bhava mad-bhakto mad-yaji mam namaskuru (BG 18.65). Then what will be the result? Mam evaisyasi. Simply by practicing these things. It does not require any M.A., Ph.D. Simply you have to agree, Yes, I shall think of Krsna
- Krsna says mam evaisyasi asamsayah (BG 8.7): "Without any doubt, simply by doing these four things, you'll come back to Me." So what is the difficulty? Do it properly and be happy

- Maharaja Pariksit thus gave him (Kali) permission to live in a place where there is gold, because wherever there is gold there are all the above-mentioned four things (falsity, intoxication, lust, envy) and over and above them there is enmity also

- The Bhagavad-gita, Bhagavan, personally says that "Your real miserable condition of life are the four things: janma-mrtyu-jara-vyadhi (BG 13.9)." But who is taking seriously
- The four things are Kali's disciple, friends. So one friend is this meat-eating problem, the butchers, Kali's friends. And the liquor distiller, he's also Kali's friend. And the gamblers or the gambling house maintainer. And prostitute house maintainer
- The symptoms of possessing soul is the same four formulas - eating, sleeping, mating and defending. The animals also busy in these four things, we are also busy in these four things. Then where is the difference between animal and me
- There is no botheration for securing a piece of leaf, a piece of flower or a little water or a piece of fruit. Any poor man, any rich man, can secure. And the Lord says "Anyone who offers Me these four things with devotion, with love, I accept them"
- There is no science, there is no philosophy, there is no education throughout the whole world that the aim of life is to stop these four things: birth, death, old age and disease. They cannot think of. Yes? Birth can be stopped?
- These are material opulences: high parentage, great riches and great learning and great beauty. These four things are material opulences
