- Kaliya said, "O killer of the Mura demon, I have acquired many mystic powers by my austerity and penances, but before You I am nothing, I am most insignificant. Therefore, please be kind upon a poor soul like me, and don't be angry with me"
- Karyam karma samacara: Do your duty as duty, as you are duty bound. But don't be attached to that work. Because you should always know that your real work is self-realization
- Kasyapa Muni said: My dear wife (Diti), to follow this vow, do not be violent or cause harm to anyone. Do not curse anyone, and do not speak lies. Do not cut your nails and hair, and do not touch impure things like skulls and bones

- Krsna said: "My dear King (Kaliya) of the snakes, although I have given you so much pain, please do not be dissatisfied with Me. It is My duty to protect these cows, which are worshiped even by the demigods"
- Krsna says that "Don't be attracted by pious activities; neither go down to abominable condition of life. Simply capture Me." Mam ekam saranam vraja. That is the whole instruction of Bhagavad-gita.

- So this Bhagavata religion is not a cheating religion. This is real religion. Don't be carried away by cheating type of religion. You do not understand what is the value of life, what is the goal of life, how we can revive our eternal life
- So you are all good souls, please do not be agitated in trivial things. Do your duty nicely, develop the center as nicely as possible. If you think that your personality has been minimized, you can tolerate it
- So you must have a clear idea of God, you theologician. You take all these ideas from Vedic description. Don't be misled by fools and rascals
- Sri Narada Muni wanted to stop King Barhisman from engaging in such fruitive activities. Therefore he is now directly telling him, "Don't be interested in such temporary benefits."
- Sukadeva Gosvami reassured him (Pariksit). "My dear King," he said, "don't be doubtful about the wonderful activities of Priyavrata. For a devotee of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, everything is possible because the Lord is also known as Urukrama

- Take advantage of this movement. We have tried to open, our humble attempt to open a center here. Do not be envious upon us. Kindly take mercy upon us. We are..., our humble attempt. And take advantage of it. That is our request
- Take real knowledge. Don't be misled by bluffers who have no authority to speak. And to cheat you . . . Because you are wanting, hankering after something, so so many bluffers, cheaters, they come and cheat you. Don't be cheated
- That is the instruction of Krsna. Don't be attracted by the temporary material benefits. Just try for permanent, eternal benefit. Go back to home, back to Godhead
- That is the instruction of the Gosvamis. Anasaktasya visayan yatharham upayunjatah. Don't be attached to the bodily demands. Bodily demands means eating, sleeping, sex life, and defending. These are bodily demands
- The best thing is that you have enjoyed sense life in so many varieties of life, as cats, as dogs, as demigods, as tree, as plants, as insect. Now, in this human form of life, don't be captivated by sensuous life. Just try to understand Krsna
- The devotee said, "My dear kadamba tree, do not be worried. Just after defeating the Kaliya snake in the Yamuna River, Krsna will come and satisfy your desire." This is an instance of inappropriate hopelessness in ecstatic love for Krsna

- To have faith, this is called surrender. Not that, "Oh, Krsna says, but may not be able to protect me." No. Krsna is able. He is all-powerful, omnipotent. He can give you protection
- To learn how to control senses, that is brahmacari. Where is that civilization? So establish. Give them food. Give them shelter. Give them knowledge. Don't be entangled in vagina civilization. It is most abominable civilization, condemned civilization
- Try to execute Krsna consciousness somehow or other. Even whatever you have finished, that is your lasting credit. Don't be neglectful. Tyaktva sva-dharmam. Svalpam apy asya - this is the most important line in Krsna consciousness

- Urvasi said: My dear King, you are a man, a hero. Don't be impatient and give up your life. Be sober and don't allow the senses to overcome you like foxes. Don't let the foxes eat you

- Vedic injunction is that don't stay within this dark material world. Just come to the illuminated world. Jyotir gamaya. The same thing Krsna also advises, that don't be allured to stay in any nice planet of this universe. Come out of it
- Vrtrasura encouraged Indra, saying, "Don't be morose because of my victory. There is no need to stop fighting. Instead, you should go on with your duty. When Krsna desires, you will certainly be victorious." This verse is very instructive

- We are prepared to purchase the land at a rate of not more than Rs 1500/- per bigha. They (Indian locals) are under the impression that Americans will purchase at any price so don't be taken in. We can purchase any neighboring land at the above price
- We don't want to discuss all this nonsense philosophy, just to warn them that "You don't be misled by this rascalism." That is my point

- Women are self-interested by nature, and therefore they should be protected by all means so that their natural inclination to be too self-interested will not be manifested

- You are being somewhat harassed in your activities by these so-called swamis. But do not be discouraged by their foolish talkings, we have got more important business
- You become thoughtful. That's very nice. But don't be thoughtful without accepting a spiritual master. That thoughtfulness will not help you, because you are conditioned. You are, you have got the four kinds of defects
- You begin Krsna service, Krsna consciousness, immediately, so that even a little bit done towards service you are gainer. Vigata-viklava gata sankha. Do not be doubtful, that, I am not qualified, so I cannot serve. My service will not be accepted
- You can solve your petrol problem, but you can never solve the problem of winter and summer. It is not that winter will remain for good, or the summer will remain for good. Agamapayino 'nityah. They will come and go away. So don't be bothered about them
- You do not be attached with the profit and loss of anything, but you simply do your duty. You don't care for the success or failure. And if you are steady either in success of failure, that is called yoga
- You take instruction from Krsna, the perfect. Don't be proud of your paltry knowledge. That is our Krsna consciousness movement, that Krsna is perfect, and take knowledge from Him, you'll be perfect
