- Accepting the sandalwood pulp and garland, the Lord sat down and said, "Now, in front of Me, you must eat"

- Since he (Haridasa Thakura) did not go to see the temple, Lord Caitanya Himself, who is nondifferent from Jagannatha, used to come and sit with Haridasa Thakura daily. Here in Srimad-Bhagavatam we also find this same behavior of the Lord

- That evening, after the Lord had taken His bath and seated Himself, Ramananda Raya came to see Him with a servant. He offered his respects and sat down before the Lord
- The Bhattacarya offered a carpet for the Lord to sit upon, and both of them sat there. Then Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu opened the prasadam and placed it in the hands of the Bhattacarya
- The Bhattacarya said, "Both the food and the sitting place are the Lord's mercy. If You can eat the remnants of the food, what is the offense in Your sitting in this place"
- The Lord and His devotees sat on a raised platform, and below that sat Haridasa Thakura and Sanatana Gosvami
- The Lord replied, "I belong to a lower order of sannyasis. Therefore I do not deserve to sit with you."
- The Lord then personally sat down in the middle and picked up all kinds of straw, grains of sand and dirty things
- The Lord took them both (Haridasa Thakura and Sanatana Gosvami) with Him and sat down in a sacred place. Then Sanatana Gosvami, who was advanced in renunciation, began to speak
- The Mayavadis were sitting in an exalted position & Caitanya Mahaprabhu sat in a place that was not even clean. the Mayavadi sannyasis thought that He must have been aggrieved for some reason, and Prakasananda inquired about the cause for His lamentation
- The next day Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu sat with all the devotees, headed by Sarvabhauma Bhattacarya, and they discussed the pastimes of Krsna
- Then Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu personally sat down to accept lunch with the other sannyasis, and Gopinatha Acarya began to distribute the prasadam with great pleasure
- Thereafter, when Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu reached the Kazi's house, He sat down by the doorway and sent some respectable persons to call for the Kazi
- This statement (in CC Madhya 11.176) of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu is significant. Nibhrte vasiya tahan kariba smarana: I shall sit down there in that solitary place and remember the lotus feet of the Lord
- Thus they (Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu and Ramananda Raya) met time and time again, sitting in a secluded place and jubilantly discussing devotional service by the question-and-answer process
