A
- A devotee is one who has no other motive for reciting Bhagavad-gita & Srimad-Bhagavatam than to serve the Lord. Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu has therefore advised us to hear the glories of the Lord from a realized person - bhagavata paro diya bhagavata sthane
- A devotee who actually wants to make progress in devotional service and go back home, back to Godhead, must lose interest in sense enjoyment and associating with persons who are after money and sense gratification. This is the advice of Lord Caitanya

- "I (Caitanya) have seen your two brothers (Rupa Gosvami and Vallabha)," the Lord then informed him (Sanatana Gosvami), "and I have advised them to proceed toward Vrndavana"
- If all Indians had taken to this path (of spreading Krsna consciousness movement), as advised by Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu, India would have given a unique gift to the world, and thus India would have been glorified
- If he (the prospective student) is not (sincerely seeking Krsna consciousness), he should not be accepted. However, Lord Caitanya's causeless mercy is such that He advised all bona fide spiritual masters to speak about Krsna consciousness everywhere

- Marriage is a concession for people who are unable to control their senses. Raghunatha, being an advanced devotee of Krsna, naturally had no desire for sense gratification. Therefore Caitanya Mahaprabhu advised him not to enter the bondage of marriage
- Money and women are the basic principles of material attachment. Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu therefore advised those who are actually serious about returning back to Godhead to give up money and women in order to be fit to enter the kingdom of God

- One should not be anxious to offer direct service to the Lord. Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu advised that one become a servant of the servant of the servant of the Lord (CC Madhya 13.80). This is the process for approaching the Supreme Lord
- One should note how Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, advised Raghunatha Bhattacarya to learn Srimad-Bhagavatam. He advised him to understand Srimad-Bhagavatam not from professional men but from a real bhagavata, a devotee

- Pradyumna Misra was born of a brahmana family and Ramananda Raya of a non-brahmana family, yet Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu advised Pradyumna Misra to take instruction from Ramananda Raya. This incident is described in the Antya-lila, Chapter Five - of CC
- Pradyumna Misra, being thus advised by Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, went to the home of Ramananda Raya. There the servant of Ramananda Raya gave him a proper place to sit down

- Sadhu-sanga, sadhu-sanga-sarva-sastre kaya: this is the advice of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu. All sastras advise us to associate with a sadhu. Even Canakya Pandita, the great politician, recommended: tyaja durjana-samsargam bhaja sadhu-samagamam
- Sometimes a spiritual master takes the risk of being overwhelmed by the sinful reactions of the disciples and undergoes a sort of tribulation due to their acceptance. Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu therefore advised that one not accept many disciples

- Taking the advice of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu and our spiritual master, one can go to any part of the world and instruct people to become devotees by following the regulative principles, worshiping the tulasi plant and continuously chanting Hare Krsna
- The characteristics of this age predicted by Srimad-Bhagavatam are already being experienced to some degree. Since Kali-yuga is a very miserable age, Caitanya Mahaprabhu, who is Sri Krsna Himself, advises everyone simply to chant Hare Krsna
- The entire world is suffering for want of Krsna consciousness. Therefore Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu advised all human beings born in India to make their lives perfect by Krsna consciousness & then preach the gospel of Krsna consciousness all over the world
- The Krsna consciousness movement is trying to elevate human society to the perfection of life by pursuing the method described by Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu in His advice to the brahmana Kurma
- The Krsna science is not so easy. It is not so easy. So therefore Caitanya Mahaprabhu has advised, yei krsna-tattva-vetta sei guru haya. Yei krsna-tattva-vetta. Any person who knows the science of Krsna, he is guru; not others
- The Lord (Caitanya) also advised that one should hear Srimad-Bhagavatam constantly. Also to be followed are duties of the day and duties of the fortnight, as well as fasting on Ekadasi day

- We are thinking of ourselves according to so many false material identifications, but we should take Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu's advice: jivera 'svarupa' haya-krsnera 'nitya-dasa.' We must come to understand, - I am the eternal servant of Krsna
