- Anyabhilasita-sunyam (Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu 1.1.11). If one has no desire other than to serve Krsna and His devotee, then his life is successful. This is explained by Narada Muni (in SB 7.15.73) through this practical example from his own life

- I want association of Vaisnava. You are all pure Vaisnavas. You have sacrificed everything, material comforts, for Krsna's sake. That is Vaisnava. Anyabhilasita-sunyam. You have no other desire
- If he has got any other desire to fulfill, then it is mixed. It is not suddha-bhakti; it is vaidhi-bhakti. Karma-misra-bhakti, jnana-misra-bhakti, yoga-misra-bhakti. Bhakti must be there. Otherwise, karma, jnana, yoga, nothing is successful

- In Goloka Vrndavana no one has any desire other than to love Krsna

- Pure devotee means one who has no other desire than to serve God. He is a pure devotee
- Pure devotional service means anyabhilasita-sunyam: no other desire, no duplicity, pure - "I am servant of Krsna, and it is my duty to serve Krsna," not I am serving Krsna with a motive
T
- The devotee of Lord Krsna has no desire other than serving Krsna. Even so-called liberated people are full of desires. Fruitive actors desire better living accommodations, and jnanis want to be one with the Supreme
- The difference between the pure devotees of Vrndavana and devotees in other places is that the residents of Vrndavana have no other desire but to be associated with Krsna
- The fruit of the devotional creeper is the pure desire to serve and please the senses of the SP of Godhead. Krsnendriya-priti-iccha dhare ‘prema’ nama. (CC Adi 4.165) In the spiritual world one has no desire other than to please the senses of the SPG
- The Lord (Krsna) is the chief amongst such satvatas. Bhismadeva, therefore, had no other desires
- The word satam is very important in this verse. Satam means the pure devotees, who have no other desire than to serve the Lord. Only in the association of such devotees are the transcendental glories of Lord Krsna properly discussed
- They (saintly devotees) are also absolute because they have no other desires. Being freed from the dualities of material desire, they are called sreyas-kamah
