Actually Gopīnātha Siṁha was Akrūra.

CC Adi 10.76, Translation and Purport: Gopīnātha Siṁha, the thirty-eighth branch of the tree, was a faithful servant of Lord Caitanya Mahāprabhu. The Lord jokingly addressed him as Akrūra.
