- Yamunacarya says: My dear Lord, those who are in the modes of passion and ignorance, the demons, the nondevotees, cannot understand You. They are unable to understand You. BG 1972 purports
- You can't understand Krsna by speculation; that is not Possible, because your senses are imperfect
- You cannot understand by exercising your senses, but He reveals. To whom? Who is in the service attitude, jihvadau, beginning from the tongue
- You cannot understand Krsna by these blunt material senses. That is not possible. You have to purify it. Tat-paratvena nirmalam (CC Madhya 19.170). Simply by Krsna consciousness, always thinking of Krsna, all your senses will be purified
- You cannot understand Krsna simply because you are a learned Sanskrit scholar. You are a rascal. Krsna is not so easy to be understood by scholarship or Sanskrit language. Don't commit this mistake. Krsna is understood by a person to whom Krsna reveals
- You cannot understand Krsna sitting in your parlor and speculating on your so-called educational qualification. That is not possible
- Yudhisthira continued, "I cannot understand why You (Krsna) are kind to us. We are not yogis; on the contrary, we are attached to material contaminations. We are householders dealing in politics, worldly affairs. I do not know why You are so kind to us"
