Śrī Paramānanda Upādhyāya was an advanced devotee. His name is mentioned in the Caitanya-bhāgavata, where Śrī Jīva Paṇḍita is also mentioned as the second son of Ratnagarbha Ācārya and a childhood friend of Hāḍāi Ojhā, the father of Nityānanda Prabhu.
