The living entities, like we all are living entities, animal, which has life, they are superior energy and the material body is inferior energy, why? This inferior body, why is it called inferior, because it is not going to exist forever, temporary, it is temporary, it is not going to sustain and the living entity, who has accepted this body dehi asmin yatha dehe, asmin dehe, the proprietor or the occupier of this body. There are two things in a house, there is one owner of the house and there is one occupier, tenant. The tenant is not the owner, owner is different. Similarly there are two souls residing in this body, one is occupier, the living entity, to whom this body has been given, "you take this body". He cannot refuse,

God is residing in every ones heart, in your heart, my heart, and he knows everything, past, present, future. As we desire, we pray to God, "O lord please give me these facilities", and God gives it. Is it difficult for God, God is giving everything, and if I want something else, then God gives that also. If someone prays to God, that "O lord, make me capable of eating everything, no distinction", then God gives a body of a hog, take it eat up to stool, there is no discrimination. God gives such a body that he eats stool with great pleasure, "God give me such a body so that I can eat lot of meat and blood". Ok, become a tiger. So desire and hate, two things are there with us, some things we don’t like and some things we like, So according to that, based on what I like, God gives us one body. That is why, it is mentioned in the scriptures, that the living entity is sitting in the body, just like everyone sits in a car, there is one driver and there is one owner and the car is also there. So that car is this body, machine, just like a car is a machine, similarly, this body is also a machine, and driver and there are two people sitting one is a driver and other is the owner, and as the owner instructs, the driver drives. This is going on, two souls, one Super soul and the living entity, are sitting in this body That is mentioned in the Upanishad also, there are two birds sitting on one tree, one is eating the fruits of the tree and the other is just watching, So the Super soul which is watching, is the Supreme Personality of Godhead, and one who is enjoying the fruits working hard with this body is the living entity, there are two. So the whole world is going on like this only by illusion, all the living entities are thinking that I am this body and the objective of my life is to enjoy my body, this is called illusion.
