Lord Caitanya's mind was thus pacified by the ecstasy of the chanting.</p>

Therefore when Caitanya Mahāprabhu heard the chanting of the holy name of the Lord, He was pacified. Previously, He had been feeling very morose due to separation from Jagannātha.
