Prabhupāda: Here is . . . so this is the aim, that one should know Kṛṣṇa. And the human life is meant for that purpose. That is the distinction between animal life and human life. Therefore the next verse is yato bhaktir adhokṣaje. Find out.
Tamāla Kṛṣṇa:
- sa vai puṁsāṁ paro dharmo
- yato bhaktir adhokṣaje
- ahaituky apratihatā
- yayātmā suprasīdati
- (SB 1.2.6)
Prabhupāda: So life is divided into two—that body and the soul. Actually the soul requires satisfaction. So unless the soul approaches Adhokṣaja—adhokṣaja means beyond the sense perception of bodily understanding—there is no possibility. So we can start later this chapter.
