- Maharaja Ambarisa's queen was equally as qualified as the King. Therefore it was possible for Maharaja Ambarisa to engage his life in household affairs
- Maharaja Pariksit is specifically addressed as arindama because in his political life he was able to subdue all kinds of enemies

- The Caitanya-caritamrta pastimes of Lord Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu constitute a very secret literature. It is the life and soul of all devotees. Those who are not fit to relish this literature, who are envious like hogs and pigs, will certainly not adore it
- The conclusion is that a devotee, by the grace of the Lord, is liberated in both this life and the next, whereas karmis, jnanis and yogis are never liberated, either in this life or in the next

- This practice (of chanting Hare Krsna) will purify him (the devotee), and at the end of his life, due to his constant chanting, he will be transferred to the kingdom of God. BG 1972 purports
- This program of constant remembrance can be disturbed by many things, but Dhruva Maharaja's life would be so pure, as assured by the Lord Himself, that Dhruva would never forget Him
- This simultaneously one and different position of the devotee (the devotee becomes one with God in transcendental interest remaining eternally a transcendental servitor) makes him eternally purified, and thus his life becomes a complete success

- Vaisnava is meant for delivering all the fallen souls. Just like a very good example: Lord Jesus Christ. According to the Christian idea, he took all the sins of all people and he sacrificed his life. Very good example
- Vasudeva considered: By delivering all my sons to Kamsa, who is death personified, I shall save the life of Devaki - SB 10.1.49-50
- Vasudeva wanted to save the life of Devaki by promising to deliver his sons to Kamsa. "In the future," he thought, "Kamsa may die, or I may not beget any sons

- We find these two characters in the life of Lord Jesus. He was very much tolerant, at the same time kind to the people in general. You see
- We must always remember that a devotee’s life is one of vairagya-vidya, or renunciation and knowledge. Therefore all devotees are warned not to live unnecessarily luxurious lives at the cost of others
- We should not forget the chanting of the Hare Krsna mantra under any circumstances. It will help us in the greatest danger, as we find in the life of Gajendra

- When an expert physician treats a patient, he tries to find the original cause of the disease and is not diverted by the symptoms of that original cause. Similarly, a devotee is never disturbed by reverses in life
- When Krsna left the gopis and went to Mathura, the gopis cried for Him the rest of their lives, feeling intense separation from Him. This ecstatic feeling of separation was specifically advocated by Caitanya Mahaprabhu through His actual demonstrations
