- A description of the three purusa-avataras is given in Srimad-Bhagavatam. The Supreme Personality of Godhead manifests three features, as Karanodakasayi Visnu, Garbhodakasayi Visnu and Ksirodakasayi Visnu, in this material manifestation. BG 1972 purports

- Because this material world is the creation of His external energy, it thus appears to be temporary; it is manifested at certain intervals, maintained for some time, and again dissolved and conserved in His own energy

- Everyone is afraid of the activities of time, but a devotee who knows that the time factor is another representation or manifestation of the Supreme Personality of Godhead has nothing to fear from the influence of time

- God is also present. He spreads heat and light, and therefore we find so many varieties of manifestation

- Lord Maha-Visnu, who is lying on the Causal Ocean, is a manifestation of Sankarsana. He is the original Personality of Godhead who glances over the material and efficient causes of the cosmic manifestation
- Lord Siva says that spirit and matter are not creations of various philosophers, but are manifested by Lord Visnu, as described in this verse (SB 4.24.63): tvam eka adyah purusah

- Rama presented Himself as an ideal king. He did not manifest Himself as the Supreme Personality of Godhead, but from symptoms of authentic literature we understand that He is God
- Regulated activities are prescribed in the Vedas, and the Vedas are directly manifested from the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Consequently the all-pervading Transcendence is eternally situated in acts of sacrifice. BG 3.15 - 1972

- Sensory knowledge is divided in different categories, although actually everything is one as a manifestation of the energy of the Supreme Lord
- Since He (God) is the origin of the Brahman effulgence and Paramatma manifestation, He is described herewith (in SB 3.29.36) as the chief personality
- Since the spiritual world is a manifestation of the Lord's internal energy, the living beings within that internal potency are qualitatively one with the Lord without contamination from the external potency

- Sridhara Svami has composed a nice verse in this regard, "I worship the Supreme Personality of Godhead, who is always manifested as reality even within this material world, which is considered by some to be false"
- Srimad-Bhagavatam is the narration of the svarupa of the Lord manifested by His internal potency, and this potency is distinguished from the external potency which has manifested the cosmic world, which is within our experience
- Such manifestations of the Lord's potencies are eternal and are called nirguna, or free from all tinges of the modes of material nature, even up to the mode of material goodness
- Such manifestations of the transcendental forms of the Lord are accepted by Him mostly to enliven His devotees. All His incarnations are manifested whenever there is a need to deliver His devotees and maintain His own principles

- Tat-prakasan (of CC Adi 1.34) indicates the direct manifestation of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Nityananda Prabhu, and the initiating spiritual master
- That Ksirodakasayi Visnu is entering in the heart of every living entity. In this way, the Visnu manifestation is all over the creation

- The material manifestation is therefore the objective manifestation of the Supreme Lord and exhibits His impersonal feature so much adored by impersonalist philosophers
- The material universes are manifested by the Lord in the form of Maha-Visnu. Just as a husband and wife combine to beget offspring, Maha-Visnu combines with His wife maya, or material nature - CC Intro
- The material world in potency is always there. But it has got a manifestation beginning, and again end. It begins from God, and again it ends in God. But God is eternal

- Those who are personal devotees of the Lord take everything to be the property of the Supreme Lord. Everything, whatever we see, is the manifestation of the Supreme Lord; therefore, everything should be engaged in the service of the Lord. This is oneness
- Time cannot deteriorate or interfere with the conditions in the spiritual world, where different manifestations of the Lord are the recipients of the worship of different living entities in their constitutional spiritual positions

- Vaisnava philosophers do not accept the different manifestations of the energy of the Supreme Lord as false; they accept them as nondifferent from the Supreme Personality of Godhead because they are a display of His diverse energies
- Vaisnavas worship the forms of Lord Visnu in His varied manifestations, such as Radha-Krsna, Laksmi-Narayana, Sita-Rama and Rukmini-Krsna
- Variegatedness is expanded as the spiritual expansion of the Supreme Godhead Himself, for the manifestation there is totally of the spiritual energy, as explained in Chapter Seven
- Vibhuti, as used in this verse (of BG 10.19), refers to the opulences by which He (the Supreme Lord) controls the whole manifestation. BG 1972 purports
- Virat (the phenomenal manifestation of the Supreme Whole), hiranyagarbha (the numinous soul of everything), and karana (the cause, or causal nature) are all but designations of the purusas, who are responsible for material creation
- Visnu is manifested by His millions and billions of integrated forms & separated forms. The integrated forms are called Godhead & the separated forms are called the living entities or the jivas. Both the jivas & Godhead have their original spiritual forms

- We should not understand the sleeping condition of the Lord to be the same as our sleep. Here the word yoga-nidra is specifically mentioned, which indicates that the Lord's sleeping condition is also a manifestation of His internal potency
- Whatever living thing we see is simply a combination of these two energies (superior and inferior). When an advanced devotee thinks of these energies, he immediately understands that they are manifestations of the Supreme Lord
- When everything existed in darkness, the Lord desired to see Himself and all that was created. Then the eyes, the illuminating god Sun, the power of vision and the object of sight all became manifested
- When He (The Lord) desires to fight with someone, He has to find an enemy, but in the Vaikuntha world there is no enemy. Therefore He sometimes comes to the material world as an incarnation in order to manifest His fighting spirit
- When He manifests all His qualities in fullness, He is called most complete. This is the version of all learned scholars in the devotional science
- When Maha-Visnu enters into the manifested universes, He again manifests Himself as the Supersoul in each and every entity. BG 1972 purports
- When the Lord manifested Himself on this earth He partially displayed the activities of His pleasure potency in His rasa-lila just to attract the conditioned souls, who are all after the phantasmagoria pleasure potency in degraded sex enjoyment
- Within the universe the Lord is situated in different spiritual manifestations. These are situated on seven islands in nine sections. Thus Their pastimes are going on

- You are so merciful to Your devotees that You manifest Yourself in the particular eternal form of transcendence in which they always think of You
- You awaken from the bed of Sesa, Ananta, and from Your navel a small transcendental seed is generated. It is from this seed that the lotus flower of the gigantic universe is manifested, exactly as a banyan tree grows from a small seed
- You manifest Your different energies in countless forms:as all living entities, both moving and standing, including the demigods, the learned sages and the pitas; as outer space, as the higher planetary system containing the heavenly planets
- Your multienergies are continually manifest, but the impersonal Brahman, which is undivided, original, changeless, unlimited and blissful, is the cause of the material manifestation
