Conversations and Morning Walks

1974 Conversations and Morning Walks

And another, ārambhara. That is, that is, that is humbug, humbugism, ārambhara.
Morning Walk -- March 30, 1974, Bombay:

Prabhupāda: So there is no beginning. Just like it is already taken to Kṛṣṇa consciousness, so why should he take something else, begin here. That should continue.

Dr. Patel: Ārambha-patavat. Ārambha is a rudanta.

Prabhupāda: And another, ārambhara. That is, that is, that is humbug, humbugism, ārambhara.

Dr. Patel: Ārambhar means this ārambha.

Prabhupāda: Ārambhar.

Chandobhai: Sarva-ārambha.

Prabhupāda: Ārambha means beginning. So it is already began, chanting Hare Kṛṣṇa. What is the new thing, you begin this, you begin that? No. No more. That's all right. Final. Harer nāma harer nāma harer nāma eva kevalam (CC Adi 17.21).

That is a false propaganda. You see? That is humbugism. So either you can do for yourself or for Kṛṣṇa. That's all.
Morning Walk -- April 1, 1974, Bombay:

Prabhupāda: That's all. So that is karma. But when you do the same thing for Kṛṣṇa, that is karma-yoga.

Guest (1): But (Hindi), if you do it for others, for Kṛṣṇa, for Kṛṣṇa's...

Prabhupāda: Others... Others means... That is also a humbug. You cannot do anything for others. You do everything for yourself. That is a false propaganda. You see? That is humbugism. So either you can do for yourself or for Kṛṣṇa. That's all.

1975 Conversations and Morning Walks

The whole material world is already polluted. That is humbugism. They will die at the end, but still they are trying to live.
Morning Walk -- (World War III) -- April 4, 1975, Mayapur:

Prabhupāda: It is already polluted.

Rāmeṣvara: They say that this radioactive fall-out...

Prabhupāda: The whole material world is polluted. Who will live here? A little, say, twenty years before, dying. After all, you have to die, twenty years after or twenty years before. So it is already polluted. That is humbugism. They will die at the end, but still they are trying to live.
