- A statement was made by Lord Krsna in Bhagavad-gita. Sa kaleneha mahata yogo nastah: "In course of time the yoga system as stated in Bhagavad-gita was lost." It was coming in parampara, in disciplic succession, but due to the passage of time it was lost

- There have been many yoga systems popularized in the Western World, especially in this century, but none of them have actually taught the perfection of yoga
- There is no question of stopping the activities of the senses. That will fail. The yoga system, Patanjali yoga system, is artificially stopping the activities of the senses
- There is no record of Arjuna's having executed the yoga system at any time. At the same time Arjuna was praised by Krsna as the only man worthy of understanding Bhagavad-gita
- These (no illicit sexual connection, no intoxication, no meat-eating and no gambling) are the four minimum regulations for the execution of any yoga system. And in this age who can refrain from these activities
- These (purport of BG 6.47) are some of the means for performance of bhakti or Krsna consciousness, the highest perfectional stage of the yoga system. BG 1972 purports
- These transcendental (Vaikuntha) planets are worshipable because the PG personally rules them. It is said here (SB 3.15.26) that the sages reached the transcendental spiritual sky by dint of their mystic power. That is the perfection of the yoga system
- They (misguided men) artificially try to stop the activities of the senses (yoga system), or they deny the transcendental senses of the Lord - jnana system
- Thinking of Krsna is the essence of all yoga systems - of the hatha, karma, jnana, bhakti or any other system of yoga, sacrifice or charity
- This (yoga) system must be considered generally impossible in this age of Kali. Of course it may be possible for some very few, rare men, but for the people in general it is an impossible proposal. BG 1972 purports
- This chapter, Lord Krsna will try to teach the principles of yoga system. So here He begins, that a transcendentalist should always try to concentrate his mind on the Supreme Self
- This direct process of bhakti-yoga is recommended for this age because people haven't got sufficient time to execute all the paraphernalia any other system of yoga
- This is the only yoga system, bhakti-yoga system, that one can practice for quick result and self-realization and liberation even in this life. He hasn't got to wait for another life. It is so nice, Krsna consciousness
- This is the real business of the yogis: to think of the lotus feet of the Lord. Lord Siva therefore advises that one who is actually serious about purification must engage himself in this type of meditation or in the mystic yoga system
- This is the yoga system (practicing different sitting posture) recommended for those who are too much absorbed in the bodily concept of life
- This is yoga system: bhakti-yoga. Yoga means to connect, to add, yoga. So at the present moment we are almost disconnected. Not exactly disconnected; forgotten our relationship with Krsna, or God
- This Krsna conscious yoga system cannot be practiced by an ordinary man who has no attachment for Krsna, for it is a different system, and the topmost - bhakti-yoga
- This Krsna consciousness is yoga system. At the present day, they are concentrating their mind on something void, impersonal, according to their own prescription. The real process is to concentrate the mind on something

- This type of meditation (meditating on God's lotus feet) or in the mystic yoga system, will help him (a yogi) not only to see the Lord within constantly but to see Him face to face and become His associate in Vaikunthaloka or Goloka Vrndavana
- This yoga system (going to secluded place, control the senses and mind to concentrate everything on Visnu form) is very, very difficult. It may be possible for some solitary man, but for the general mass of people it is not recommended in the scriptures
- This yoga system has been lost because the parampara system became broken. Therefore, Krsna said to Arjuna that "I am initiating you to begin that parampara system again because it is now, the link is broken. So I want to begin that system through you"
- This yoga system recognizes the soul, and thus it is distinct from the so-called yoga process for controlling the cells of the body, which has been discovered in the modern age
- This yoga system, Krsna consciousness, even you take it from religious side, this is first class - because there is no motive. They are not serving Krsna to supply them this or that
- Those who are imitating this yoga system in different so-called schools and societies, although complacent, are certainly wasting their time. They are completely in ignorance of the desired goal. BG 1972 purports
- Those who are in the yoga system and have realized the self, the world, and the Supreme Lord, in other words, the bhakti-yogis, those engaged in pure devotional service in Krsna consciousness, can understand how things are taking place. BG 1972 purports
- Those who are interested in material enjoyment are known as bhukti-kami. One who is interested in merging into the effulgence of Brahman or perfecting the mystic yoga system is not a devotee at all
- Those who are just stepping on the staircase of the yoga system, for them, karma karanam ucyate, they must work. In the beginning, nobody should stop working. Nobody should stop working
- Those who are taking the first step up the staircase of the yoga system, there is work. One should not think that simply because he is beginning yoga that he should stop working
- Those who are too addicted to sense gratification are advised to practice the mystic yoga system, or astanga-yoga system, consisting of yama, niyama, asana, pranayama, pratyhara and so on. In this way, one can control the senses
- Those who are too much bodily attached, for them this yoga system is controlling the senses, yoga indriya samyamah. Yoga does not mean to increase the power of sense gratification. Yoga means controlling the senses
- Those who are too much, I mean to say, thinking of this body, for them, this hatha-yoga system is prescribed. But the aim of that hatha-yoga system is to see or search out the Supreme Personality of Godhead, or Paramatma
- Those who practice the yoga system must meditate on the lotus feet of the Lord for a long time after following the regulative principles and thereby controlling the senses
- Three different processes by which Krsna can be understood: the empiric process of philosophical speculation, the process of meditation according to the mystic yoga system, and the process of Krsna consciousness, or devotional service
- To attain such (mystic) perfection, one must undergo a certain process - hatha-yoga - and through this yoga system the practitioner achieves some uncommon mystic power
- To encourage Arjuna, Krsna said that "Don't be discouraged because you cannot practice this yoga system. Here is the best process." What is that? Yoginam api sarvesam mad-gatenantar-atmana (BG 6.47): If you simply think of Me, then you are the best yogi
- To understand knowledge of the soul, one must be trained in the mystic yoga system, or, finally, in the bhakti-yoga system

- Unless one attains this stage of perfection - beyond the perfection of the preliminaries of the yoga system - there is no ultimate realization
- Unless we practice this yoga system (of always engaging in devotional service, always worshiping Krsna and always offering obeisances unto Him), our illusory attachment for this bad body, which is full of stool and urine, is impossible to give up

- We are being dictated by the maya and acting and becoming entangled more and more in material energy. And you have to get out from this entanglement by this yoga, or perfect yoga of Krsna consciousness. That is yoga system
- We are very attached to material enjoyment, but when we transfer that same attachment to Krsna, we traverse the path of liberation. One has to practice this yoga system and none other
- We do not know how people can be captivated by the bogus yoga system in which it is stated that simply by meditating fifteen minutes daily one can attain the perfection of becoming one with God
- We had previously received copies of the Swahili language publication of Topmost Yoga System from Brahmananda Swami and it is very nicely done. This printing and distribution of our literature is most important aspect of our propaganda work
- We have heard many times of the yoga system. The yoga system is approved by Bhagavad-gita, but the yoga system in Bhagavad-gita is especially meant for purification
- We may note with profit how Dhrtarastra began his yoga system by drinking water only and sitting calmly in a place with a spiritual atmosphere, deeply absorbed in the thoughts of the Lord Hari, the Personality of Godhead
- We must always know that we are executing the topmost yoga system, Krishna Consciousness, and we do not require any inferior quality yoga system
- We must understand that this (meditation) is not the actual yoga system. In this age that meditational system cannot be properly executed. Instead, all of the perfections of that system can be realized through bhakti-yoga, the sublime process of KC
- We're not very intelligent, and, at the same time, we're unfortunate. These are the characteristics of man living in Kaliyuga, a degraded age. So properly speaking we can never attain success in this meditational yoga system described by Krsna
- What was Arjuna's great qualification? Sri Krsna says, "You are My devotee. You are My very dear friend." Despite this qualification, Arjuna refused to execute the meditational yoga system described by Sri Krsna. What then are we to conclude
- When advanced living entities lived for such lengths of time, it was possible to execute this meditational system of yoga
- When Arjuna told Sri Krsna that the hatha-yoga system was too difficult to execute, the Lord pacified him by saying that the first-class yogi is one "who is always thinking of Me." - BG 6.47
- When Lord Krsna delineates the yoga system to Arjuna, Arjuna says that the practice of this system is not possible for him
- When one comes to the point of samadhi in the yoga system, he thinks, without cessation, of the Visnu form of the Lord within the heart. He is absorbed in that thought
- When one is finally freed from all contaminations, he attains the supreme perfection of the yoga system - Krsna consciousness
- When one rises to the perfectional stage of receiving dictation from the Lord, that is greater than any stage of material achievements above mentioned. The breathing exercise of the yoga system which is generally practiced is just the beginning
- When the interaction of the three modes of material nature begins, Brahma and the great sages, who are the authors of the spiritual path and the yoga system, come back under the influence of the time factor
- When there is spontaneous love, that is not a yoga system. It is yoga already. United
- Within one hour, the whole Bhagavad-gita was discussed, and Sri Krsna set forth the perfection of all yoga systems to His friend Arjuna. At the end of this great discourse, Arjuna set aside his misgivings and fought
- Within the discourse, Arjuna heard the explanation of the meditational system of yoga - how to sit down, how to keep the body straight, how to keep the eyes half-closed and how to gaze at the tip of the nose without diverting one's attention

- Yoga ladder, it has been compared with a ladder. Just like steps in a big skyscraper house there are steps. So every step is a progress, that's a fact. So the whole stepladder may be called the yoga system
- Yoga system is approved, but nobody can follow the rules and regulations strictly, neither there is suitable place for executing it, and everyone is always full of anxiety, so how they can concentrate?
- Yoga system is not that, that you go on doing all nonsense in sense gratification and simply sit down meditation. This is simply colossal hoax. It has no meaning
- Yoga system is very difficult for this age. But if you think that this fractional practice of yoga, a hundredth, or one percent . . . that is not possible to reach to the perfectional stage
- Yoga system means a process which helps uniting with the Supreme. That is called yoga system
- Yoga system means again connecting the link. That is called yoga. Yoga, the Sanskrit word, means connect, and viyoga means disconnect
- Yoga system means an endeavor to understand the Absolute Truth. Yoga means linking, connecting. So when you connect with the Absolute Truth, that is called yoga
- Yoga system means to control the mind. By controlling mind, you can control the senses. Because mind is the master of the senses. Then above mind, still finer, is the intelligence. So you can train up your mind with intelligence
- Yoga system means to save time. The whole process, mechanical process, of yoga, mystic power, means to save time. We have got a limited duration of life
- Yoga system which regulates the mode of living, the manner of sitting, selection of place, and detachment of the mind from material engagements. As a practical man, Arjuna thought it was impossible to follow this system of yoga. BG 1972 purports
- Yoga system, adhyatmika, is being explained by Kapiladeva, that you'll never fall down. Permanent, fixed-up position. Once begun, it will continue. Even if you fall down, then you are given chance again
- Yogi means those who are trying to focus all attention to the Supersoul which is within our heart. That is called yoga system
- You have to learn how to contact Krsna everywhere in everything. That is explained in the system of yoga. Krsna consciousness is also yoga, the perfect yoga, the highest of all yogic systems
- You keep Krsna on the mind. The maya, darkness will never be able to come. That is the first-class yoga system
- Yuktahara-viharasya yukta-cestasya karmasu yukta-svapnavabodhasya yogo bhavati duhkha-ha - He who is regulated in his habits of eating, sleeping, recreation and work can mitigate all material pains by practicing the yoga system - BG 6.17
