- A bona fide spiritual master or saintly person always desires to elevate a common man who comes to him

- The association of good devotees, engagement in the transcendental service, the understanding of SB, the chanting of the holy name, and residence in a holy place like Vrndavana or Mathura are all very important for elevation to the transcendental plane
- The brahmanas were very much interested in the comforts of the material body and in elevation to the higher planetary residences called svarga-vasa. They were therefore completely unable to understand the position of Krsna

- They're busy collecting the ingredients for ritualistic ceremonies that yield only temporary benefits, such as elevation to Svargaloka for material happiness. They're not attracted to the sankirtana movement
- Thinking of Caitanya, thinking of Krsna - this is Krsna conscious. That is . . . nobody can deny. When he's working in this way he cannot think of other way. That will elevate him, simply by thinking. Man-mana. He'll derive greatest benefit
