- Water is the common element in both the gross and subtle forms of all material creation, and it should be noted herewith that due to necessity, water, being most prominent in the material creation, is the principal element of all the five
- We (the counselors of Kamsa) have nothing to fear from these demigods. They are very proud of being great fighters in peacetime outside the war field, but actually they cannot show any talent or military power on the war field
- We actually see that even in this life such big prime ministers, presidents and other politicians, because of being nondevotees, fall down - patanty adhah
- We are being accepted by learned circle, and who cares for these rascals? Nobody cares. Only some sentiment. There is no science, there is no knowledge. Here it is authoritative knowledge based on Vedic culture
- We are being attacked moment after moment by one thing after another, yet people close their eyes to birth, old age, disease and death
- We are being dictated by the maya and acting and becoming entangled more and more in material energy. And you have to get out from this entanglement by this yoga, or perfect yoga of Krsna consciousness. That is yoga system
- We are being directed by the whims. So it is very lamentable condition of India, although this Krsna consciousness is India's original culture, Krsna culture. Krsna appeared on this land
- We are being led by material consciousness, but as soon as we transfer all consciousness to Krsna's activities and realize that Krsna is everything, then we attain real knowledge. BG 1972 purports

- We are eternal, blissful, and full of knowledge, but having been covered by this material entanglement, we have forgotten ourselves. Therefore Bhagavad-gita gives us the advantage of being able to revive our original status
- We are even more respectable because we are in the dynasty of Bhrgu. Yet although this woman's father, being among the demons, is our disciple, she has put on my dress, exactly like a sudra taking charge of Vedic knowledge
- We are happy. We are becoming educated, we are advanced in science. But Bhagavata says, "No, you are not advancing, you are simply being defeated, because you do not know how to get happiness. You are not trying for real happiness"
- We are lacking in God consciousness on account of being impure. So by chanting, glorifying the Lord's name, you will be purified
- We are not outsiders. Being very dear friends of Srimati Radharani, we can perceive the bodily fragrance of Krsna from a distance
- We are not taught even during our age of education that we are not this body and something else. This was being done in ancient times, our forefathers. When the boys were going to the guru, in asrama
- We are part and parcel of the Supreme Brahma, aham brahmasmi. This is the philosophy that, "I am not this matter; I am Brahman." This knowledge required. This knowledge, this brahma-jnana knowledge, is being imparted in the beginning of the Bhagavad-gita

- We have become so accustomed to being kicked that we think it is all right and consider it to be the ordinary course of things

- We have no knowledge of the spiritual kingdom, nor do we even have perfect knowledge of this material world where there are so many things unknown to us. The body is nirananda; instead of being full of bliss it is full of misery. BG 1972 Introduction
